@afr I'm not sure why you are so wound up here ... threads tend to bring out the worst in some people I guess. But if you feel that you were wronged and the software is completely useless then give it a bad review. In the meantime, @RickMeasham and others, thanks again for the support, I'll continue to improve the application. If any of you think of additional features let me know. Also, if you can help me recreate some of the issues that lead up to crashes that would be very helpful as well. I have my old iPhone 2.5G, iPhone 3G and now this iPod touch, but I don't experience crashes often; and when they do occur I am not able to recreate them for debugging purposes.

@RickMeasham ... you are ... as always ... my hero :-) I think that what @afr has failed to see is that for the very low price of $0.99 he/she will be entitled to unlimited upgrades and bugfixes and has helped offset my cost of having to pay for an iPod Touch that I never wanted but needed for testing. So now I'm out $299 ... and as @RickMeasham has already pointed out, I'll be lucky to get back my investment to say nothing about my time. Luckily, I also enjoy learning about the iPhone and don't really care about making money ... I'd just like my hobby to cost a little less. So please be patient ... fixes will come shortly and cost you nothing.

@marks I am sorry you had to buy the application twice. That was not what I would have wanted. Unfortunately, the submission process wouldn't allow me to offer an update on a version of the App that had been pulled from the store. The only way to get mJaiku back on the store was to register under a new application code. It really and truly sucks that you had to pay twice and I feel bad about that. Having learned my lesson, I will never again pull an application from the store. Future updates will of course be free.

@CAW You are correct, I ask for the credentials so they don't have to locate and type in that ridiculously long key. The password is never stored or used once I get the API key. In fact, you'll notice that the API key and username can be modified / viewed in the preferences for mJaiku.
